Director, Institute for Ongoing Clergy Formation, Saint Paul Seminary
Deacon Dan Gannon serves full-time in his ministry as director of the Saint Paul Seminary (SPS) Institute for Ongoing Clergy Formation (IOCF). He is an attorney with a master’s degree in sacred theology from Holy Apostles College & Seminary.
Deacon is an adjunct instructor at SPS and serves as instructor of spiritual formation for lay graduate students in the SPS Master’s program. He is an instructor with the SPS Catechetical Institute,
and in deacon formation programs for the Archdiocese of Saint Paul & Minneapolis and the diocese of La Crosse. He leads retreats on Carmelite spirituality for priests, deacons and laity.
Deacon was an attorney atThomson Reuters Legal for sixteen years, and President and CEO of Catholic Senior Services for eight years. He serves as a biomedical ethicist and serves on the Wisconsin Catholic Medical Association board of physicians as an ethicist and spiritual director.
Deacon and Lisa have four adult children and live in Prescott, WI.
